I love bold, vibrant colors. I desire a lot of flow and movement in my paintings. I try to imitate nature in any way I can, whether it be by the movement of water, the crashing of waves, the sway or whipping of the wind, or the pouring or pounding of the rain. The painting I titled "Downpour" reminds of when I was sitting by the window in our beautiful Victorian home gazing out through the trees at the pouring rain. Some paintings, like "Tranquility" are just that, simple, peaceful, calming, beautiful color. Sometimes I add various materials to my paintings, sea glass, precious gems, gold leaf, just to name a few. I am only limited by my imagination! All of my paintings are intended to invoke the happiness in the viewer, that I, the artist, had in creating them, PURE JOY!
